You probably need two of these.
Most people arrive asking for a website when the real problem is somewhere else — a booking tool fighting the checkout, a Google listing nobody has touched in three years, a site that works fine and just says the wrong thing. Here is everything I do, and how to tell which one you want.
Where to start
If you already know what you need, pick it below. If you don’t, the free site evaluation is the honest entry point — I look at what you have, tell you where it actually stands, and say so plainly when the answer is that you don’t need me.
Every engagement is fixed-price after a scoped conversation. No hourly billing, and no invoice that arrives larger than the number we agreed on.
Everything I do
Four of these have a page of their own. The last two usually start inside a project.
Website design & development
Working pages you review before money moves. Full builds, refreshes, one-page sites, and landing pages, finished in your colours and your words.

Technical SEO, structured data, local SEO and Google Business Profile, plus an llms.txt so AI assistants describe you accurately.

Custom storefronts on a checkout that already works. Product pages, cart, email capture, and analytics.
See e-commerce 04Ongoing care
Hosting, security, monitoring, renewals, and edits — with a one-page report every month so you can see it happened.
See ongoing careDigital operations
The plumbing behind the business. Tool evaluation, workflow fixes, platform migrations, booking and payments, domain and DNS. Usually starts inside a website project, and available on its own.
Ask about operationsBusiness intelligence
Where you stand before anyone builds anything. Site audits, competitor teardowns, positioning, and performance reporting. The free site evaluation is the entry point.
Ask about an auditWorth saying plainly
Two of these — operations and business intelligence — usually start as part of a website project. The tool audit that finds you paying for three overlapping subscriptions tends to happen during discovery, because that is when someone is finally looking. You can also hire either one by itself.
Questions, answered honestly
Which service do I actually need?
Start with the free site evaluation. I look at your current site, your Google listing, your tool stack, and your competitors, and I tell you which of these is the real constraint. Often it is cheaper than what you called about.
Can I hire you for one thing instead of a whole project?
Yes. Audits, tool evaluations, platform migrations, competitive analysis, and Google Business Profile work are all available on their own, with no website project attached.
Do you work with businesses outside Raleigh?
Yes. I am based in Raleigh and most clients are in the Triangle, which makes in-person discovery easy. The work itself is remote-friendly and I take projects across the US.
Tell me what you’re building.
A real reply within 24 hours, and it’ll be me typing it. Start a project or email hello@novell.site.
